Connectors & Assemblies

Interconnect parts and harnesses, built to drawing.

Wire-to-board and board-to-board connectors, FPC/FFC, RF and coax, USB and data connectors — plus custom wire harness and terminated cable assemblies produced from your drawing or sample. Shenzhen is the densest interconnect supply chain in the world, and this is where buying locally actually shows up in your price.

Families listed are indicative. Connector and harness pricing depends heavily on quantity, wire gauge, length and termination — send the drawing, the sample photo, or simply the mating requirement and we will quote.

Cable assemblies: how to brief us
  • Both ends matter. Connector series and gender at each end, plus orientation (straight or right-angle).
  • Wire specification. Gauge (AWG), colour, insulation material and whether a shield or drain wire is needed.
  • Length and tolerance. Cable length including or excluding connector bodies — state which, and the tolerance you can accept.
  • Termination and testing. Crimp, solder or IDC; and whether continuity, pull-force or Hi-pot testing is required.
  • Volume plan. Sample, pilot and production quantities, so tooling cost can be amortised sensibly.
Practical notes
  • Send a sample when possible. One physical sample removes almost all ambiguity and usually cuts a week of back-and-forth.
  • Brand connectors vs equivalents. Genuine JST, Molex and Hirose cost more but lock dimensionally; compatible equivalents save money where the application allows it.
  • RoHS compliance is standard on request and can be documented for customs and end-customer audits.
  • Tooling. Custom crimp applicators and moulds are quoted separately and normally paid upfront — we will say so clearly rather than hiding it in unit price.

Send a drawing, photo or mating requirement

For standard parts, a part number is enough. For assemblies, the more detail you send, the faster the quote.
