Capacitors, resistors, diodes, transistors, crystals and inductors — the commodity lines that make up most of a BOM by count, and the hard-to-find values that stop a production run. We supply full reels for assembly, and cut tape or singles for repair and prototyping.

Values and sizes shown are the ranges we are asked for most. Brand preference matters here — MLCC and electrolytic quality varies widely between manufacturers, so tell us if your design or end customer specifies a particular brand.

Where passives go wrong
  • Voltage derating on MLCC. A capacitance value is meaningless without its voltage and dielectric — X5R and X7R lose significant capacitance under bias.
  • Tantalum in-rush. Substituting tantalum for aluminium or polymer without checking in-rush current is a common and expensive mistake.
  • Crystal load capacitance. A crystal that is electrically wrong starts, drifts or fails at temperature even though it fits the footprint.
  • Inductor saturation current. Inductance alone does not protect a switching supply; the saturation rating is what keeps it working.
What to send us
  • Value, tolerance, voltage rating and size — all four, for capacitors in particular.
  • Package size and whether you need full reel, cut tape or loose quantity.
  • Quantity per line item, plus annual usage if you want a stocking arrangement.
  • Brand restrictions or approved-vendor lists, if your customer audits the BOM.
  • If you are replacing a specific part number, send that too — matching the original is safer than matching the value alone.
